Compote Crush was born to fill the gap in the blind box market.
Even though there are hundreds of different characters to choose from, there seems to be a scarcity of black ones. And while anyone can enjoy anything, it's nice to see yourself represented in a hobby or trend that you love. The compote crushes are different types of fruit with different personalities to match, with jelly-style coloring to give them a clean but fun aesthetic.
Hannah B. (short for Banana) is from the tropics and loves her beach time with her girls.
Aya (aka Pitaya) is a punk rocker, headbanging her spiky afro every chance she gets.
Gracie (the grape) is an all natural bohemian girly grown straight from the earth.
Mara (Schino Cherry) is a corporate baddie who always reaches for a Dirty Shirley during happy hour.
Makay (Tamil for mango tree and unripe fruit) is a true hiphop fan from her bantu knots to her baggy jeans. As the secret crush, she carries a mango and has a reflective coloring.
